Cabana Updating... Yay!

Although the original cabanas we built for our vacation trips to Belize were delightful, it was clearly time for some updating. In addition to brand new windows, insulation, and tile floors, we updated and enlarged the kitchen and sleeping spaces in the south (kitchen/dining) cabana. The bedroom cabana has new tile and windows also. More pictures here.

They look really nice, Drew! Did you do the work yourself or hire a contractor?

Hi Wilma... we have two employees whose skills have developed quite nicely over the past few years, and I hire a contract "master carpenter" on a daily rate to do the "special" stuff. Works out well... and much less expensively than contracting the whole project.

They do look good! It looks nice and bright in there. So many places in Belize seem to lack lights.
