These are both the same flower! Commonly known as Frangipani, it's botanical name is Plumeria. It has a very strong frangrance, and is used to make leis in Hawaii. We have several varieties of these growing at Kokomo and The Maine Stay. More information here and here.
This afternoon, at a friend's place, we saw this quite large Iguana. The tip of his nose is 18 inches off the ground and from nose to tip of tail is 5 feet.
This is the national animal of Belize.
Although the original cabanas we built for our vacation trips to Belize were delightful, it was clearly time for some updating. In addition to brand new windows, insulation, and tile floors, we updated and enlarged the kitchen and sleeping spaces in the south (kitchen/dining) cabana.
